Day 2 Normal walking distance in Day 2 is around 7 hours. Due to adverse weather and track situation, I got lost two times and spent over 9 hours reaching the hut. First 3 hours is flat road, and then climb climb climb to the highest point 1180m... Maraunui Hut (2.5hours) > Korokoro Campsite (1 hour) > Waiopaoa Hut (6 hours) > Panekire Hut Ship Lake Waikaremoana
