Karamea

Karamea is a small town situated in West Coast of South Island of New Zealand. Honestly, it is nothing special but a haven escaping from the noise and bustle of stressful life.

It was not a place for tourists, but a place for hikers because Karamea is a gateway to Kahurangi National Park
And also the gateway to Heaphy Track (one of the Great Walk), that's why I am here
The cheapest backpacker house in NZ, just NZ$10 per night per bed. Of cos, the living environment was soso...
This is already the main street of Karemea, no car, no pedestrians and even no buildings
Just 15 minutes from the main street and you can feel the miracle of Tasman Sea
Seems the beach belongs to me. I am the only person staying in the beach for the whole afternoon
I am thinking: How many days I can enjoy the life like this when I am in HK? The answer is NEVER
Observe the alternation of high tide and low tide

Observe the daily life of bird species
