Mosquitoes are vectors for pathogenic viruses and parasites, which can cause encephalitis, malaria, Dengue Fever etc. Having fever and chills after many bites a few days ago do cause concern. Do you have rash or other symtoms?
The pic posted looks like an Aedes mosquito, which has typical black and white stripes on their body and legs.
