Sunday 24th December 2006 12:26:04 PM  Before I went to the airport to pick up my son, I went to Po Lin Monastery by cable car from Tung Chung and spent the afternoon there.The big budda (Tian Tan Buddha Statue) was build many years ago at Po Lin Monastery, Lantau Island. This year (2006) the project - SkyRail - a cable car line from Tung Chung up to the Monastery was build. It's a 30 minutes journey and it's 5.3 kilometer long. Unfortuneately the pollution in Hong Kong is high and the sight of the budda statue is covered in smug. :( View the photos -> here |
