Outside Kowloon Park, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

I always find those trees amazing.
The shade under the trees combined with the light and people on the opposite side of the street.
I have been here many times and always tried to find an angle to capture this.

The pollution in Hong Kong has been very high the last few days. A sunset like this is very bad and the sun disapeared in smog half an hour before it should reach the horizon. My other photos on Flickr will show you how bad it is. It's time that someone do something else than talk - ACTION NOW please.

I have tried to capture some photos from this historical spot in Hong Kong!!!
Soon history :(
The old terminal will be replaced of a highway - not to Kowloon - but to solve the traffic problems in Central.
My solution to this was much cheaper. Make Central a car free zone. The goverment in HK don't care about enviroment or they get their information from the wrong "too high-paid" people. There is no planning in HK and therefore everything end up in mess.
A highway with all the pollution and noise in Central. Foreign companies are leaving HK due to the pollution, what a shame.

There is still not so much life as in Tai Po Kau.
The dragonflies haven’t showed up and only a few Demselflies around.

A few frogs can be seen, but a lot of birds in the trees above the new frog-pond.
The frogs are not as noisy as in Tai Po Kau.

The forecast for today was sunny and I went to Fung Yuen early this morning.

The sun showed up around 11 a.m. and the butterflies started to show up. Not many and they were moving very fast and didn’t want to pose.

The hornets were building a nest and were very aggressive, behind the trees there were thousands of them.

Nice weather – a little humid and 28 degree.
I got the bee but unfortunately not the positions I wanted. May be another day. But they will not stay there long time.

I also found another funny (ugly) insect. It’s only 2-3mm and look like a little dust mouse.

The park was pretty with a lot of African Tulip trees and the Hong Kong Orchid Trees too. There were a lot of flowers and birds.

The zoom lens is more slow to make focus and the working distance is larger. The sharpness of the object will become almost the same as the 200mm, but not so crispy. The background is also different. I prefer the 200mm macro lens.

I captured some small birds, dragonflies, flowers and a baby lizard.

At the south-end of the peninsula you wil find some big nice beaches which can only be reached on foot or by boat.

Sunset, Laser Beams at night
Parkering i HK_City koster 20 kr i timen.

Insects - Dragonflies/Guldsmede - Hong
